Our Comprehensive Winterisation Process
- Optional Tick-Over Circulation Setup – frost-stat timers set where applicable to allow controlled circulation during cold conditions
- System Shutdown – boiler or heat pump, pool equipment, and electrical supplies safely isolated
- Full System Drain Down – pumps, filters, boilers, and associated pipework drained and checked for issues
- Water Level Reduction – water lowered to the appropriate level below skimmers, depending on cover type
- Water Balance Testing – pH levels checked and adjusted to maintain stable winter conditions
- Winter Chemical Treatment (optional) – dosing of suitable winter chemical pack, with chemicals on site or supplied if not available (additional charge applies)
- Poolside Equipment Removal – ladders and removable fittings disconnected for winter storage
- Winter Debris Cover Installation – heavy-duty debris cover fitted, with anti-frost drums positioned within the pool
- Condition Report – any defects or recommended works identified during winterisation are reported
- Final Secure & Tidy – pool area and plant room left secure, clean, and organised following winterisation
- Optional Monthly Winter Checks – available upon request; additional charge applies
