A retired couple from Yorkshire had decided to move to a West Sussex farmhouse to be nearer their children and grandchildren. Having had a pool at their previous home, they knew what they wanted. They contacted Fowler Swimming Pools and other companies for competitive quotations. Extensive refurbishment works were also being carried out on the house and the pool was to be an integral part of the garden landscaping.

Managing Director Tom Holman attended and discussed all aspects of the pool installation including finishes, filtration plant, heating, automatic pool cover, hard landscaping and stone retaining walls. After the initial meeting Tom prepared a full quotation and specification of the proposed works. Design proposals were presented and consequently approved following further consultations. Fowler Swimming Pools were awarded the contract.

The pool is a 12M x 7M fully tiled concrete pool with a slatted solar safety cover. Works commenced in July 2007 and were completed in September 2007. Fowler Swimming Pools senior foreman David Harvey and his team of skilled craftsmen constructed the pool shell and carried out all the hard landscaping. Pool waterproof rendering and mosaic tiling was carried out by our specialist team of Eric Meaden and his two sons. As with many Fowler employees David and Eric have worked for the company for over 40 years!
